I was surpirsed - it really recovered corrupted PSD file that I couldn't open Didn't belive it at first but this program really recoverd PSD file that Photoshop wasn't able to open displaying some random error. Saved couple hours of work thanks to this. Highly recommend - even though overall web and soft look is really outdated it just does its job. Thanks!

Recovered everything from old DVDs I was embarrassed to discover that several DVDs we received from our wedding photographer 10+ years ago were not backed up on our NAS. To make things worse, I could no longer copy the contents of the DVDs. I turned to Recovery Toolbox, which recovered ~40%. Then, I purchased a new HP DVD drive and could recover everything! We are so grateful! Pro tip: consider getting a new DVD reader before giving up on your restoration efforts; it helped me restore everything.

Great program for salvaging optical media Great program, far better than windows file explorer. You can skip files that can't be read (nasty CD scratch or disk rot) and often it can recover those files without hang like built-in Windows file explorer crap.

Great free recovery tool Had a music file on a 20-year old data cd, could only play the first few seconds. The toolbox retrieved the whole file with some tiny gaps, nothing else worked, so extremely pleased. It took a long time, but it's good to know that there is a way to recover broken files like this.

The CD recovery software worked well The CD recovery software installed well on my Windows 10 desktop and operated smoothly. All files were recovered from my CD-ROM. While the CD file TOC was fine, some of the individual files written first on the CD were corrupted. While these image files were recovered, the images were still flawed. The images were never written to the CD correctly in the first place, so this software did its job very well. This is a good product, but it cannot make gold out of sand.
