I am thrilled by Cockatoo! I am thrilled by Cockatoo! It transcribes even spoken dialect in proper written language. That's outstanding. And I stop saving extra copies of the transcrips. They are always and securely available on Cockatoos's platform and even separated minute by minute. You always have your full overview over the whole text. Really great!

3 months to finally resolve an issue ! On October 14, 2023, I was debited three times from my bank account for a total amount of €29 each time, resulting in a total deduction of €87 for the month of October. This occurred as I subscribed to your website for the first time. Following my complaints on October 18 and October 25, you refunded me twice, totaling €58. On October 18, I informed you that I no longer had access to my subscription and requested a refund. Finally, on November 7, you notified me that you would refund the last installment of €29. It has been a month since our email exchanges. As of November 14, the third installment of €29 has not been refunded, and I noticed a new debit of €15.28 on the same day. Since October 18, my account has not been activated, and I am unable to enjoy the features of your website. You can deactivate my account. I no longer trust your site. I want to first recover my money (€44,28) ! On December 2nd, the day I posted this review, Cockatoo finally got in touch with me. They asked me to reconsider my review and offered me 2 months of their subscription for free. They requested that I pay for the 2 months of subscription with the promise of a refund. I am eager to see if I will indeed be reimbursed, considering the history of the issue. The moral of the story is that Cockatoo only addresses its users' problems when they share negative reviews on this site. I find it unfortunate that one has to take public action for things to finally move forward! UPDATE 12/02/2024 The company made a commercial gesture. The platform is great.

Accurate and fast transcription, saved me tons of time I used to do transcriptions the old way many years ago. It was quite time consuming. Later I used real time transcribing with my recordings, which was helpful. This newer AI tool is way more accurate than transcribing software I used before, did quite well with different accents in Turkish, and did the job quite fast, highly recommended.

Cockatoo has good translation, but.. Cockatoo has good translation capability. Compared to others it is definitely faster. However, It has not good enough UI and features, and sometimes UI not respond. Also, the support side is not good as expected. If you have a problem, you are your own. Support has no response in most cases; if they promise you a discount when you started to use it, they might change their mind. I wasn't expecting that coming.

great name, even better software 🦜 Cockatoo is THE BEST. Their software = ease. It's fast and intuitive and when you have to transcribe half-hour podcasts like me... a real time-saver. With it, I can just focus on editing and curating each interview, which is the fun part. Can't recommend enough! 💪
