The transcription comes in as text; I pasted it into a word file and can easily edit it. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Cockatoo!

The user-friendly interface of Cockatoo's platform also deserves praise. Uploading my audio file and specifying any special instructions was a breeze. The website is intuitively designed, making the whole process seamless and hassle-free. Additionally, their customer support team was readily available to assist me with any questions I had, displaying a high level of professionalism and dedication. Cockatoo is a fraud Cockatoo is a fraud, I uploaded my video and the srt file was two lines in Spanish, then a mixture of Spanglish.

Such time saved thanks to cockatoo Such time saved thanks to cockatoo. Still difficulties to understand specific terms when it comes to scientific conferences. But it is fine, because then you only have to listen once in normal speed to correct the few issues (predictables) of the transcript. I will 100% sure come back to cockatoo for my next transcripts. A couple of comments though : more transparency about the storage of data (where, how long, possible complete destruction of both transcript and video/audio) would be very welcome. Or maybe propose an offline software alternative for confidential data (very often in research). Those would be very helpful improvements !

3 months to finally resolve an issue ! On October 14, 2023, I was debited three times from my bank account for a total amount of €29 each time, resulting in a total deduction of €87 for the month of October. This occurred as I subscribed to your website for the first time. Following my complaints on October 18 and October 25, you refunded me twice, totaling €58. On October 18, I informed you that I no longer had access to my subscription and requested a refund. Finally, on November 7, you notified me that you would refund the last installment of €29. It has been a month since our email exchanges. As of November 14, the third installment of €29 has not been refunded, and I noticed a new debit of €15.28 on the same day. Since October 18, my account has not been activated, and I am unable to enjoy the features of your website. You can deactivate my account. I no longer trust your site. I want to first recover my money (€44,28) ! On December 2nd, the day I posted this review, Cockatoo finally got in touch with me. They asked me to reconsider my review and offered me 2 months of their subscription for free. They requested that I pay for the 2 months of subscription with the promise of a refund. I am eager to see if I will indeed be reimbursed, considering the history of the issue. The moral of the story is that Cockatoo only addresses its users' problems when they share negative reviews on this site. I find it unfortunate that one has to take public action for things to finally move forward! UPDATE 12/02/2024 The company made a commercial gesture. The platform is great.
