No-IP products and support are robust, reliable, economical, and support articles are linked to the product configuration page, so you have no wasted time searching a KnowledgeBase to get answers to your questions. The answers are right there where you need them. Support incidents are responded to quickly, and you usually get the correct answer on the initial response. No-IP is hard to beat in any category. I highly recommend them.

I don't have any problem I'm using a free NO-IP domain with my server at home. I had no problem of my account being disabled or anything like that. Yes, you need to "confirm" your hostname every 30 days, but that's okay IMO.

Disastrously bad handling of a false content report I ran a game server using No-IP's service as DDNS. An upset member of the group submitted a false "copyrighted/malicious content" report and my account was closed. As I was concerned that I've been framed for distributing malware or other potentially illegal actions, I emailed them to explain my situation. But there was no further response after an exchange that amounted to, "Go away, we won't help you"—what a joke! Edit: After contacting them again, the case has been reopened. I'll update this review if their investigation reaches an accurate conclusion.

Customer service at its best! I received great support to resolve an issue with receiving the noip expiration and authentication emails, even though I'm not a paying customer but use a free noip service. In addition the issue was not located on the noip side but was with my hosting provider. Nevertheless the noip support team kept answering all my emails until the issue was resolved. Great service for 5 years and counting Hey @no-ip, your service can do with a 'troubleshooting help' link near your front page. I've been using this service for about 5 years now and had *zero* downtime. This company just gets me what I need: some free subdomain with a dns record that's easy and cheap to automatically update I've noticed a lot of negative reviews, and I've had several peers get upset (and blame no-ip) when they couldn't figure out why they couldn't get their things running as expected. Unfortunately, their disappointment was often misplaced. Perhaps no-ip could put some 'general instructions for port forwarding' or something for more novice users? Overall, I love this service
