Mark-up & red-line capabilities on the mobile application I would have given full marks was it not for the fact that marking up drawings on the iPad do not have seamless functionality like in Notes or GoodNotes 5 or similar. PDF, EXCEL and Retainage We are having issues with pdf files and uploading excel files since the latest update. While support did respond in a reasonable manner the response is less than helpful. WE are now supposed to tell our GC's the problem is with their pdf reader and second we are now going to have to input manually the excel spreadsheets that used to be a simple upload and we were told there was no fix for that. Last I still have no response on the issue of retainage and giving us the option of either retainage by line item or retainage by total amountbilled. As a subcontractor this is extremely important.

Opening the app Overall Fieldlens has been a great experience and an extremely useful tool for our company. It allows for great communication and planning. A few cons that I hope can be improved. when on my mobile phone if I open the app through an email it takes me to the app store and I have to hit open then it directs me to the fieldlens app. it is very frustrating. I also would like to be able to zoom in on pictures and docs while using the app on a pc currently I don't believe there is an option for that.

Vast improvements have been made to… Vast improvements have been made to this software since we began using it nearly two years ago. Three things that have made this a winner in my books for our small construction company: 1. Price - It's affordability given the many solutions it offers 2. Accessibility - It has a mobile platform which allows fieldwork information and photos to be entered 3. Support services - Their customer support service is outstanding! This is not hyperbole. They have a chat platform right on the site so if you have a quick question and someone's available, you get an answer right away! This is invaluable for people like myself who are not very computer savvy.

Actual cost column needs to mix committed costs with invoices It is really difficult to analyze the cost without a committed column. I can't analyse the total cost with just the actual cost because a total contract of plumbing per example is 50k but if I just upload their first invoice of 50% I will see just 25k in the actual cost. But we need to have a column that matches the committed proposals with the actual costs.
