Great Option The cost and practicality of the Freedom Pop SIM card was the reason we purchased it and have already refilled it. Works great, and is plenty of data for the camera's functionality. This is the most cost effective way to power devices that only need the data option.

Absolute scam Absolute scam! Don’t fall for it! SIM cards don’t work and they charge you for services you aren’t getting. No refund policies and no costumer service other than bogus email responses that’s it’s your fault for not deactivating. Even though you can’t, the system denies your request to cancel account every time. Atrocious and unacceptable business practices to steal money from people.

Decent Service FreedomPop seems to provide adequate to good phone and data service at a reasonable price, but I wish calls were direct cell calls, not routed over the Internet. Messaging is also slower to start than with other carriers.

Freedom Pop is cost efficient Freedom Pop is a cost efficient, easy to use wireless provider. I've had no issues with connectivity, phone calls or messaging unlike other wireless carriers that I have used.

Not a scam, But Make sure you read the fine print TWICE! Another service with poor disclosures and even worse customer support. If you make sure to read every single letter on every singe page, you'll have a general idea of what you're getting. But some information is only explained in more detail after you sign up, as it can be exhausting to have to scour every page for info. The one time I clicked a checkbox for a option without reading the "More info" url, I was instantly charged for adding a service! No mention of the pricing on the whole page, no pop-up conformation prompt, just an instant charge to my paypal account, so I turned it off within seconds, and contacted support and they refused to fund it, as I had already "used the service" even if I gained no benefits from it in the seconds it was active. In short, I've used tons of paid services, and almost always read every 'learn more' link I'm presented with. But this is the first one that I feel I had to walk on egg shells by just using.
