About Miles Kimball

The Miles Kimball Company is a leader in the catalog business — offering helpful kitchen, home, and outdoor products, personalized gifts, cards, and unique candy products. Operating from the shores of the Fox River in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the business consists of several distinct catalogs: Miles Kimball and Christmas Cards by Miles Kimball. It started over 80 years ago, when an ambitious young man named Miles went into business with a simple idea: to market a Christmas card in which the design spelled out the name of the sender. With a Minneapolis phone book and some borrowed cash, Miles printed and mailed a card personalized “Johnson” to every household with that name in the Twin Cities. The response was fantastic, and provided Miles Kimball with enough seed money to produce his first catalog. Decades later, Christmas cards — the idea that started it all — are still produced and personalized in Oshkosh. Specializing in exclusively designed ornaments, labels, children’s accessories, outdoor decor and gifts, the personal touch continues to be the Miles Kimball hallmark. As we continue to grow, we remain true to our founder’s vision: to provide you with the unique, the unusual and the unexpected. ST. Patrick's window decoration. My ST. Patrick's window decoration that I had for years burnt out. I was looking for a replacement for several years. I was scanning your catalog and here was exactly what I wanted! Just like the one I was looking for and the price was right, so I ordered two. I have been a customer with Miles Kimball for many years. I love all my Christmas cards that I have purchased over 30 years. Thank you, Miles Kimball

Shipping and "handling" charges are… Shipping and "handling" charges are MUCH too high. Handling was $5 and shipping of $8.95 was by USPS regukar mail--what a joke. Also, products were shoved into package and severely wrinkled. Then, USPS shoved them into my mailbox. Will not order again. UPDATE: Reply from Miles Kimball shows you they really don't care!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The item I ordered was listed as being real leather, however when it was received it neither felt like real leather nor did it smell like real leather. It appears to be pleather or some other type of synthetic material and is very stiff and unyielding. I lodged a complaint, was told I can return it and hope they are sending me a postage paid return label in the mail since I do not have a printer. I was told I would be responsible for return postage but due to the fact the item is not real and was falsely advertised to be so I shouldn't have to pay to return fake merchandise. That is just another way to rip people off. Normally I am very satisfied with Miles Kimball but definitely not with this cheap item! Especially not for the price of $59.99 plus shipping & taxes!!!!!!!
