Literally a scam I've had a Minehut server for a while and have decided I wanted to switch to a different server host, so I wanted to download my world to put it on a different server just to realize I can't do it anymore with the free plan. This is anti-competitive behavior, to force people to pay to get their worlds off the platform because they prevent users from switching to a different server host. I had to use a world downloader to get it off. I would recommend to stay away from it and use self hosted servers instead if you wanna just play with friends. Running a public server with a free host is probably a bad idea anyway.

And this is why I prefer Bedrock Edition. This hosting service single-handedly is why I prefer Bedrock Edition over Java Edition. I can't even join servers I made! Please, don't use this. I wasted a significant portion of my day with this. How are you guys not bankrupt yet!? An average rating of just 2.7/5 AND crappy services.

Minehut deserves to die Most servers are p2w generic garbage made by 2 guys high on drugs in a basement, the staff mute you if you are not ranked because "poor people don't get free speech", they claim the server is a garden and that I'm just some troll not allowed in after I told 2 kids who were arguing to "shut the f up" because this chat filter is so dumb, it doesn't even let us say "chess extra" because "woops I forgot that s ex was in there guess my four hour long essay is ruined". the sponsored event stuff also suck. overall would not recommend i hope minehut and the company that owns it goes bankrupt

Halloween Sever Plan Renewed Failed I thought I could have an amazing deal of the Halloween special 360 credits MH35 server plan. However, my payment didn’t go through because my server plan renewed on the 3rd which is 2 days after the Halloween special ended. The issue is resolved and I am really happy and satisfied because customer support cared so much about their customers that they went out their ways to help me able to get the MH35 server plan.

Disappointing Minehut is a great example of a project that once started as a little thing and then turned into something huge, when they cared about people. However, throughout the years, as everything has changed, they started putting greed over their community. Don't host your stuff at Minehut, as you're quite literally getting robbed with their prices. Get something better for the same amount of money you're paying at Minehut.
