A valuable course that was both informative and engaging; keen to look at other courses run by Industrial Scripts! A great introduction into the art of Script Reading! The course clearly outlines each stage of Script Reading for both TV and Film which was only strengthened by our teacher's knowledge. Established as both a Reader and Writer, he could efficiently answer all questions from a diverse group. The course materials give you a detailed breakdown of everything we went through for ease of reference. I would definitely recommend the course to my colleagues!

Best thing I ever did for my script I have been working on my screenplay for years. YEARS. And for years, I was frustrated with the state of things—I needed an outside, unbiased opinion, urgently. Friends working in the industry weren't even ideally suited for this, since they know me personally. I finally turned to Industrial Scripts, and it was the best move I've made in the writing process. Their feedback was prompt, professional, and thorough, and gave me everything I needed to cross the finish line. After only a few rounds of edits, my script was finished and has received very positive preliminary feedback. For anyone who is tired of asking friends and family to help out—work with Industrial Scripts. Worth the money.

The one day course is a great way to get the ball rolling. I have worked in production for most of my adult life. However, I always wanted to be involved in the writing process and have played with the idea for many years. I signed up to the Script Reading course which was an excellent introduction to that side of the industry. The tutor was friendly, engaging and clearly knowledgeable with plenty of practical experience in the field. More than anything the day was a source of inspiration and an affirmation that I am determined to push on with my career change.

Script Reading Course - Exactly what it says on the tin A fairly full-on day. To the point. A great primer to the business of Script Reading, taught by a very pleasant, enthusiastic, industry-insider. More material than can be covered in a single session, it's definitely worth going through the course notes again, in detail, whilst working through the following week's hand-in / assignment. Great opportunity to meet a handful of other Readers / Writers, too.

Script Reading Course I attended the Effective Script Reading Course at the end of December. Well worth it. A really useful, informative and enlightening day. Not only were we taken through the key skills that any good script reader will require but we were also given illuminating examples and tons of course notes to aid us. Equally, we were given lots of info about how to get further work, eg. cold calling manner, tracking down good leads and researching your clients. The tutor was a professional with years of industry experience and made, I say again, the 'ton' of info easily digestible with his nice, structured approach...much like a well prepared piece of coverage! 10/10, Day well spent.
