Closer Pets answered all of my questions by phone and email and helped me find the best possible solution for my cats. I need an auto feeder that will open simultaneously for two cats. The C200 accomplishes that with the lid-link clip. The only drawback is the bowls are side by side and I would prefer to have two bowls separated since one cat may finish his meal first and try to steal his brother's food. The C200 is solid construction. The timer knob moves slowly so be patient. I thought it wasn't moving at all and contacted Closer Pets to ask about it.

Cat Mate C200 It was easy to order the replacement autofeeder, as the knobs in my 12 YO Cate Mate 20 stopped working. I do like the new one better, as it is improved from the old one - the battery is in a compartment so it doesn't come out (I have tape on my other old one, as the cat pushes it around). The knobs on the new one ARE hard to turn and it doesn't quite keep the same time as the other one (ie if they are both set at 4 hours, this one seems to run a little slower) but I think that might improve with time.

Cat Mate I ordered a second Cat Mate (automatic feeder) to help regulate my cat's feeding time and make it possible to leave town for a week. My neighbor will take care of loading the Cat Mate, hugs, and litter. One of my cats is deaf but she is adapting beautifully. I especially appreciate the ice packs that allows me to load the trays and not worry about the food spoiling. Thanks for the quick delivery.

Item (stainless steel cat bowl inserts for an autofeeder) exceeded our standards. The autofeeder (also made by Closer Pets) seems like a solid model.
