GBThe Knot Business Experience I work closely with Heather D. on The Knot, she does an outstanding job of ensuring our business utilizes all of the features on The Knot, the way it was intended to be optimally utilized. There were areas on the site, that weren't being used correctly she kindly and professionally pointed them out and has guided us to success. We don't have enough good things to say about Heather and The Knot. The up front investment may initially be expensive, but well worth your investment. Thank you for your hard work, Heather!

GBThe Knot and Wedding Wire are horrible The Knot and Wedding Wire are horrible. They lure you in with insinuations of all the leads you'll get, how much traffic they get, etc. But it's all lies and false promises, and they'll never outwardly promise anything, they're very careful with their wording, but it is heavily implied that you will get leads. The leads are all fake, people never respond, never book you. They 100% take advantage of small businesses and trap them in contracts. They also ignore requests to cancel autorenew. You have to really harass them to get out of the contract once it's ended.

GBFake leads sent using my email My email has been used recently to create false leads for photographers. I received about 100 emails from photographers responding to a fake enquiry so I logged onto the Knot website by resetting the password and deleted the account. Magically, a new account has been set up, again with my email but a different fake surname. I also seem to have a new fiance. I got hold of their customer support who denied the fake lead suggestion. I've deleted this account too but please be warned, they definitely send out fake leads.

GBConfusing & painful Confusing, can't review sent messages, everyone (including wedding shower only invitees) was convinced they were going to the wedding because of the misleading homepage that you CANNOT edit. Caused serious problems with our Amazon.com wedding registry. &&&& you can only send texts of 120 characters or less -- that makes it very hard to clarify wedding details via text. Caused way more trouble than help. Save yourself and go elsewhere.

GBFraudulent hotel information provided I went to my niece's website on The Knot to make a hotel reservation. A block of rooms had been reserved at a discount. I was directed to a phone number that connected me NOT to the hotel, but to an Expedia agent who misrepresented that she was with the hotel and was providing me the discounted rate. She was not. $1200 later for two nights, when I realized that I did not receive the discount, i cancelled the reservation. I only received a refund for 1/2. although the hotel had placed their information correctly Expedia had changed the contact information on The Knot. Don't use them!
