GBOpportunistic management I ordered 3 bottles of wine from them and a few weeks after the COVID-19 nightmare began, I have a difficult economic situation so I asked them to cancel the transaction since I’m sure they can sell the wine to somebody else. After one month with no waiting for an answer, Lars sent me an email offering $110 per bottle when I paid $155, so my interpretation was him giving me a discount so I accept the wine. No I was wrong, the guy want to profit twice out of this unprecedented moment in history. I’m filling a credit card claim right now and possibly a BBB Complaint. Disgusting people, be aware and stay away from them.

GBdisappointing order, decent follow up re same I ordered a magnum of '96 Leoville Poyferre for Christmas. While not tainted, the wine was thin and faded quickly after decanting. I contacted Wine Cellarage about the wine, and they provided (1) assurance that the wine had been properly sourced and stored (and was likely an unfortunate "dud"); and (2) a $50 bottle of wine by way of compensation for the disappointing Poyferre. I think that was a relatively decent approach, and I appreciated the responsiveness of their team.

GBGreat service and very good selection Great service and very good selection. You need to check pricing though because it ranges from extremely good to quite high. Personally, I don't need to have the lowest price on the web, just fairly competitive, say within 10 to 15% of the low price. When you buy a wine and then see you paid 20 to 25% more than half a dozen other usa sites are selling it, it is a little disheartening. But, their products are in great condition, their prices are usually very competitive and their packaging is first class so I think they are a very good wine sorce.

GBSignificant delay in arrival When I placed my order in April I was told I would receive the wine in June. I did not receive the wine until the middle of September. While everyone was very pleasant to work with, this was an unreasonable delay.

GBGood Model Like your focus on featuring specific categories of wine with additional editorial content in your emails. This aligns with how I typically shop for wine/buy wine. Website also give me opportunity to shop differently (which is also good). Like having access to wines not often available from wine stores and/or reputable online wine sellers (e.g. champagne offerings) as I would not typically trust most online sellers. Have gotten bad bottles many times before (like the "cold storage" chain of custody idea that you discuss). Your checkout experience needs improvement (slow, hard to navigate, not integrated well with flow of shopping on the site) and pricing is sometimes a little bit high, but overall a great experience. Shipping is very professional and quick as well.
