GBVariety of teas = fun exploration As a gift, I received a 3-month variety pack for the holidays. What a wonderful gift! Once a month for 3 months I received a beautifully packaged variety of teas, ones that I would ordinarily never try, some black, some green, some exotic mixtures, some herbal. A terrific gift for tea drinkers, lasts way past the one holiday and encourages you to expand your palate.

GBTea Runners subscription With its subscription packages, I think Tea Runners finds exactly the right balance: I'm able to both find new teas and new blends and flavors, but also choose ones that I know I already love. I have really enjoyed my subscription.

AEthis tea that has been fully oxidized… this tea that has been fully oxidized (sometimes referred to as being "fermented" although it is not a true fermentation process). Both the leaves and brewed tea tend to have a dark color, although some black teas are golden or greenish in color. In Chinese, black tea is called hóngchá(紅茶), meaning red tea, although in English, red tea more often refers to rooibos, an herbal tea that is not made from the tea plant.

GBAmazing Monthly Box While Tea Runners is one of the more expensive monthly tea groups I've found online, it's easily worth the cost. Each box lasts a month easy if you have a cup a day, even without re-steeping. I've found a number of teas that I love through them, some that I never would have tried based on the name/description if it hadn't come in my box.

CAReally Love This Tea Subscription This is the only tea subscription service that I have found where I can not only select what type of teas I want (I chose the black tea box) but I also have an opportunity to switch out any teas that I feel I may not like prior to shipping. I highly recommend this subscription box.
