GBTHEY STEAL YOUR FOOD AND IGNORE YOUR EMAILS Out of an order of $100, I received what was worth of $24 (mainly potatoes and pantry items), the rest didn't arrive (pretty much everything that was fresh food). They also canceled the delivery of the frozen food (that part they 'refunded'), but they let me know FOUR HOURS AFTER the delivery had arrived (1/4 of the total stuff, that is..). Called them but got no response (they were supposed to call back after 90 min). Tried a second time and same issue. Decided to just claim through email, and it's already been 5 days since then and ALSO NO RESPONSE.

GBI get what I order but the cooking has… I get what I order but the cooking has become bad. All main course are very spicy and almost uneatable. The food is no longer delivered frozen and arrives all stirred up. You could not recognize lasagna for example. The polenta is so watery that it could be a soup rather than a side dish. Fresh Direct, what happened to you? I am now trying other delivery service.

GBUnimaginably bad customer service. Unimaginably bad customer service. I received a coupon for $50 off my first $100 order, so I placed an order as s new customer. I got an email receipt showing $50 was taken off the bill per my promotion. But then they billed me an extra $50. I emailed them, assuming they would be eager to resolve the issue immediately. By email they said billing issues had to be resolved by phone. So I called. The rep I spoke to told me that for security phone reps do not have access to customer accounts or email. So, according to FreshDirect, they are unable to resolve billing issues by email and unable to resolve them by phone. This shows either gross incompetence or a deliberate attempt to deceive and overcharge customers. I will never use this company again.

GBToo many plastic bags Too many plastic bags, can’t recycle the delivery bags and too expensive! Their proposed solution of donating them is good for getting one more use out of them but it is still putting more plastic into the system. There are better eco friendly delivery services available. I’m sad, I used to love fresh direct but they are loosing customers. We need different environmentally safe solutions.
