Great Ribeye So far, we’ve only had the 12 oz ribeye, which was delicious. I was surprised, however, to see that the thickness was not uniform across the steak. It tapered noticeably from one end to the other, preventing an even cook.

Filets are excellent Filets are excellent. I would order the smaller size next time as the large ones are difficult to cook and are meant for two people (at least people with larger appetites than me).

It wasn't until I moved to California about a decade ago that I realized not every place had the same great quality of meat. I spent years searching the state for butchers and good quality meat to no avail. The meat in California is straight up gross compared to the Midwest meat I grew up on. After trying several online delivery services with unsatisfying results I finally happened across the Mr.Steaks website. Grain Fed beef right from around where I grew up in Omaha, sign me up! Delivery was pretty quick. The steaks are great sized and have excellent marbling. The first bite of steak and the fat just melted in my mouth like butter, instantly brought back memories of my childhood. Yes! This is the steak I've been searching for. I won't be buying steak from anyone else, I have found the best.

Family Stamp of Approval on the 24oz Porterhouse We ordered (2) 24oz. porterhouse steaks on the Saturday before Thanksgiving 2020. On Wednesday afternoon they showed up at our doorstep perfectly packaged. We appreciated the eco-friendly materials used and the steaks were top notch and delicious on Thanksgiving day. Our 10-year-old son would love to eat them weekly but alas, they are not in our regular grocery budget. 😉 They are super for special occasion meals!

This is one of the easiest reviews ever This is one of the easiest reviews I’ve ever written. These steaks are by far the best I’ve ever ordered, and I’ve tried all the other mail order steak companies. Not that the others are not good, but I think Mr. Steak is better. They don’t have all they other food options like the other companies, their focus is steak, and it shows in the quality you get. My new go-to steak company.
