GBWe tried other POS systems but… We tried other POS systems but customizing was expensive and they didn't work as we wanted them to. Lavu system multi purpose-built with the features and reporting were right on and we were able to merge it to our own easily, they work great.

GBBuyer beware Buyer beware! Lavu will sell themselves as "great" bar/restaurant product, but what is included in the basic package is "pretty basic." They tell you exactly what basic will get you as far as equipment BUT, they conveniently forget to tell you what it does NOT include in functionality. Can it handle a "gift certificate?" Nope! But, for an extra $50 per month (after you have purchased the system) it can. Wow. Seems like pretty standard functionality to me! THEN, be careful about the credit card charges. They promised the dual pricing of 4% that is passed along to customers will cover all the credit card charges. BUT, not even close! There are platform charges and gateway charges and other things I am not even sure what they are. SO, if I had to do it all over, I'd recommend TouchBistro or Lightspeed, or maybe just a regular old cash register ...for what you get in included functionality. Good luck. And, I hope you know what you are doing.

GBDave was a great help Dave was a great help. He solved all my problems and kept me informed about future events regarding my account. He insured me he would contact me yesterday and he did as he said…very helpful and nice.

GBI couldn’t be happier I couldn’t be happier. The customer support was top notch and they walked us through the entire setup. I would highly recommend Lavu POS and their support team is phenomenal!

GBI’ve been very happy lately with the… I’ve been very happy lately with the customer service Lavu has been providing. In this particular case, the rep looked into my case. He wasn’t able to find an obvious problem with the credit card reader, or communication between Lavu and our credit card processor and suggested a three way call with our processor. It showed that he wasn’t giving up until a solution was sought.
