You get the results quickly, and you get the results without a lecture and automatic prescription. Quest Diagnostics' recent decision to discourage walk-ins is an order-of-magnitude step down in convenience, but I'll continue to use this service.

Highly recommend Private MD Labs! Private MD Labs is a truly remarkable service. I've used them several times to order my own panels & couldn't be more satisfied. One of my tests even uncovered a potentially-dangerous condition that my own doctor would never have checked for in the first place. That's the beauty of owning your own healthcare; doctors can only do so much. I've also shopped a few competitors, but Private MD Labs had them beat with their electronic documents & more-detailed test descriptions, which is important if you're looking for a specific test method. The requisitions and results come in quickly and prices are reasonable. So if you're looking to take matters of health into your own hands and supplement the care given by your doctor, look no further than Private MD Labs. You will not be disappointed!

I like the new format I like the new format, but I miss the links to the studies that you used to provide.

Annual blood tests aren't nearly enough Going to the Doctor for an annual physical is great and all, but a year is a really long time to find out that something is wrong, or that something you are taking is destroying your liver or damaging your kidneys. On demand customizable blood tests let me stay on top of my health the entire year. Regular tests have helped me identify things impacting my liver, and I have better liver markers at 50 than any time in the last 20 years. Undiagnosed thyroid and iron issues have negatively impacted the lives of people in my family, and regular blood tests have helped me stay on top of this and tailor my diet and lifestyle to stay healthy. Information is priceless.

Unfriendly consumer policies! Prices are competitive. Customer service is incredibly terrible. Know that if you order a lab test you must use it in a certain time period or they will take your money and void the test. So keep that it mind. There are other companies that have better customer service, and more consumer friendly policies, search them out before using this service! I won't be using them again. Look elsewhere for your tests, IMHO.
