Fast and reliable since 2009 I have been using this website to order my own lab tests since 2009 and have never had an issue. The costs are less than what the labs bill to the insurance company. Reasons for ordering my own tests are for checking more often or something I wanted but the doc didn't think was necessary.

I very much appreciate the research & articles! I very much appreciate many of the recent & relevant research done & articles that are published here. I’ve learned facts that I’m surprised I hadn’t known before, having been in the mental health field for a good part of my life. As I age, there are many more areas of health that need to be given adequate attention, which is a drag because it used to be so much easier to look & feel decent. Now it requires more time & attention to stay on top of good health! But, I’m keeping up! I only suggest that test prices try to be kept at a reasonable price. Most of us have Medicare and a secondary insurance, so it’s tough to come up with large sums, if on a fixed or limited income. Too bad, since I appreciate all the relevant, different, thorough & extensive testing done at the labs. I’d do all of them, if I could, since I’m on Wiley Protocol & taking several other supplements, vitamins & total amino acids, and I still do extensive stretching & exercise, at least 2-3 hours, 4+ days/week with Pickleball, hiking, biking, etc. And, we do 2 mile walks after dinner every night at nearly 69 yrs.

One of my tests even uncovered a potentially-dangerous condition that my own doctor would never have checked for in the first place. That's the beauty of owning your own healthcare; doctors can only do so much. I've also shopped a few competitors, but Private MD Labs had them beat with their electronic documents & more-detailed test descriptions, which is important if you're looking for a specific test method. The requisitions and results come in quickly and prices are reasonable. So if you're looking to take matters of health into your own hands and supplement the care given by your doctor, look no further than Private MD Labs. You will not be disappointed!

Unfriendly consumer policies! Prices are competitive. Customer service is incredibly terrible. Know that if you order a lab test you must use it in a certain time period or they will take your money and void the test. So keep that it mind. There are other companies that have better customer service, and more consumer friendly policies, search them out before using this service! I won't be using them again. Look elsewhere for your tests, IMHO.

Long time customer I've been ordering from Private MD Labs for 5 years. Virtually any test you need is available, and the total cost is frequently the same or less than your in-network co-pay. You get the results quickly, and you get the results without a lecture and automatic prescription. Quest Diagnostics' recent decision to discourage walk-ins is an order-of-magnitude step down in convenience, but I'll continue to use this service.
