GBStanton Optical in Tallahassee was…the worst Stanton Optical in Tallahassee was another wake up call about falling for advertising. Nothing they said they did (2 for 1, same day, free eye exam) were available. Why I didn’t walk out when the three diagnostic devises were dusty and worse! Of course the lens needed for the inexpensive glasses were not in stock. They wrote up a ridiculous bill for a pair of $25 frames with just distance lens for $300 I let them know I was not going to accept that price as it fulfilled nothing that they advertised. The best that the now obviously angry employee offered was $159. The glasses caused me to see double! I returned them but still got stuck with paying for the free eye exam $59! What a negative experience!

GBAvoid this business After losing our paperwork, I am still waiting for my glasses after 4 weeks. No apology, no offer to rush my order….it will be at least 10-14 days longer to get my order. The actual eye exam was done virtually by a doctor who seemed irritated to be helping me and rushed through the exam. It’s clear that they bait and switch customers with their 2 glasses for $59 with only a handful of ugly and u stylish frames at that price. Stay away from Stanton Optical and save yourself the hassle I am now in.

GBI went to Stanton om Madison Ave I went to Stanton om Madison Ave in Fair Oaks with my own frame just to get a plain sunglass lens, no prescription. After filling out the paperwork and paying for this I was told the glasses would be ready in 2 weeks but they always come early. I started checking on the status about the 14th of March, getting a recorded message saying they would be ready on the 20th. That makes it 3 weeks, definitely not early. Today I once again called and I was transferred to a live person in some foreign coumtry. He put me on hold to check on my glasses because there was no info on the computer. When he came back he said they would be ready on the 25th. I asked why and he said that is what he was told and was there anything else he could do for me. I will never use Stanton Optical again. The customer service is very poor.

GBA week before we came they said it was… A week before we came they said it was one price and then when we came they charged twice as much without letting me know. They don’t tell me what I need or require before the appointment. Usually also you can get a reference note the same day but I have to wait two days to. If all of this was required then they should have said it before the appointment, but they didn’t. I don’t recommend, waste time and money.
