I had a truly dreadful experience with… I had a truly dreadful experience with Stanton Optical that has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. It all started when I ordered two pairs of glasses from them. The first mistake they made was delivering my glasses to the wrong address, which resulted in them being misplaced. After this mishap, they agreed to make another set of glasses for me. However, when I finally received them and started wearing them, I noticed that something was off. It turned out that the prescription they had used was incorrect. This led to me having to go through the whole process of getting my eyes examined again. Stanton Optical assured me that they would modify my existing glasses to match the correct prescription. They returned one pair to me after making the adjustments, but the second pair has been missing in action since February. Despite numerous inquiries and promises, I am still left waiting for that second pair to be delivered. This entire ordeal has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. The level of incompetence and lack of responsibility displayed by Stanton Optical has left me deeply dissatisfied. I regret ever choosing to do business with them, and I certainly won't be recommending their services to anyone in the near future.

Avoid this business After losing our paperwork, I am still waiting for my glasses after 4 weeks. No apology, no offer to rush my order….it will be at least 10-14 days longer to get my order. The actual eye exam was done virtually by a doctor who seemed irritated to be helping me and rushed through the exam. It’s clear that they bait and switch customers with their 2 glasses for $59 with only a handful of ugly and u stylish frames at that price. Stay away from Stanton Optical and save yourself the hassle I am now in.

Stanton Optical in Tallahassee was…the worst Stanton Optical in Tallahassee was another wake up call about falling for advertising. Nothing they said they did (2 for 1, same day, free eye exam) were available. Why I didn’t walk out when the three diagnostic devises were dusty and worse! Of course the lens needed for the inexpensive glasses were not in stock. They wrote up a ridiculous bill for a pair of $25 frames with just distance lens for $300 I let them know I was not going to accept that price as it fulfilled nothing that they advertised. The best that the now obviously angry employee offered was $159. The glasses caused me to see double! I returned them but still got stuck with paying for the free eye exam $59! What a negative experience!

Terrible. Shop elsewhere. I’ve had 5 pairs of glasses re-lensed by Stanton over the last 3 years, and until recently they were all good. But they’ve recently changed labs and hired all new store staff, and the result is terrible. The last set of lenses had to be redone 3 times, and finally they gave up and refunded my purchase. The new lab is unreliable - the store staff admit the lab staff is all new and inexperienced. The store staff is completely incompetent, making repeated observable errors. It is as if Stanton has abandoned any staff training and is hiring anyone willing to work. They’ve lost my business, and I recommend shopping for glasses elsewhere.

Never Stanton … Got a pair of glasses from Stanton optical on 1-8-2024 and they are worn out all ready they give you a 30 day warranty and I got the best progressive lenses shot in 3 months
