The program was great becuase of the… The program was great becuase of the people I went through with. Windward provides an oppurtunity to create healthy relationship with others in recovery. The groups provided helped me understand that addiction is a battle of the mind. it provided me with knowlege about cognitive disorder and how to implement healthy coping skills. Therepy was great! Amanda D was compasionate and proffessional. She provided a safe non-judgmental space that allowed me to think through my emotions and past hurts with sutle promts. Casemanagement- Jerilynn was my advocate and got things done! One this that this program is lacking is a solid alumi program. I discharged September 1, 2021 and have yet to be contacted or infomaed of any events or even just a check in. This is crutial in maintaining relationships with those we recovered with. We need that accountability and encouragement!

The program is catered to AA The program is catered to AA. Not ideal for an addict. For me the experience was needed. Humility was practiced. But I wish it was also NA based. Employees would change meeting schedule to benefit their own recovery. Some employees didn't care about the client.

Still awaiting my completion… Still awaiting my completion certificate and coin, neatly four months after leaving treatment.

I would have given Windward 5 stars but… I would have given Windward 5 stars but for the lack of information I would receive from my case worker. I felt like I had to chase him down to find out what was next for me only to find out that decisions were being made for me based on my insurance rather than my needs and wants.

Windward Way was amazing in helping me… Windward Way was amazing in helping me with my recovery from the Doctor all of the staff was so welcoming and helpful in every way possible Monica was amazing and Jerry my case manager my therapist Brittany was so knowledgeable and also helped me in every way possible my favorite class setting was Chad he is so knowledgeable and determined Thank you so much Kimberly Perez
