Ignore (most) of the bad reviews- Talkietry is great Take these bad reviews with a grain of salt. the people who write reviews typically are the people who have bad experiences; you hear almost nothing about the good ones. I never had a billing issue, never got hassled, I had a very simple conversation up front about my health insurance plan to be sure it was covered. It's always been correct... I had 3 bad doctors before using Talkietry. Right away, I did research, found a doctor with good reviews, and now it's been a great experience. He happens to be on Talkietry. The app works, never had the video break, he's always on time, scheduling is a breeze. The patient portal is simple, sending messages - easy. My doctor replies right away, he sends scripts promptly and more importantly CORRECTLY. I had like one issue and he fixed it in like 4 hours. Advice: do your research on the DOCTOR, not the platform. The platform works just fine, pretty good actually. Before you go to your appointment, make sure your insurance company covers it. That's it.

Talkiatry is over billing everyone and… Talkiatry is over billing everyone and assuming that no one will look at their bills. Talked to someone from talkiatry as an intro, the psychiatrist listened to me and took down my history and it was an intake call. Talkiatry charged me for that session (which is very expensive by the way - 1.5x more than what I pay for Alma...please do check out Alma, they are amazing), but also charged me $96 for a follow up visit, when i never scheduled a second session. They later tried to pass this up as the doctor talked to me about medication and behavioral therapy that would help me, but the doctor never did that. They are falsefully trying to inflate the bill. This is absolutely wrong. No one should be paying extra charges because Talkiatry falsefully is adding fraudulent charges and phantom charges on the bill. Would give them less that 1 if available

Nightmare I heard good things. My experience was not. I was in desperate need of medication management. There were many psychiatric professionals to choose from that accepted my insurance. Long story short, after 5 cancelations of not being a "good fit" in other words, I wasn't in the right age group. Too old, I finally got an appointment. It was a month away but, better than nothing. I had already been waiting 2months. One week before my appointment, I received a text of cancelation because the doctor no longer accepts my insurance. After many tears of frustration, I went through MDLIVE. I got an appointment the next day. They list Talkiatry in the top 10, I don't think so. I give it a minus 10

My Psychiatrist Dr Kevin DiCesare was… My Psychiatrist Dr Kevin DiCesare was working at an office in New Hampshire. I was devastated when he left! I saw someone else at the same place, but she wasn’t him. That was back in 2017, He wasn’t sure if was going to do something different. Well every month I googled his name and I was thrilled to find him at Talkiatry! Dr DiCesare is the most caring, wonderful, Doctor you could ever have! His personality is outstanding! He makes you so comfortable, I never feel rushed, I can tell him thinks that are so personal! He will get you on the proper medication The on line visits that Talkiatry offer are great. If you are in need of a Psychiatrist, I highly recommend the best Doctor and a wonderful person,Dr Kevin DiCesare at Talkiatry!! Thank you Colleen Falzone

Most disappointing experience Most disappointing experience. After waiting over a week to get on the calendar, they remind you that your appointment is coming up, then when the appointment time comes, it says 25 minute wait time. Then cancel. Just rescheduled it for tomorrow, gave them a 1 star experience, then canceled me again, out of retaliation... Glad I wasn't in a state where I have already purchased my rope at Home Depot.... Imagine that scenario... Customer service sucks. They can't figure out time zones... On top of it, they are outsourced to Mexico and had some difficulties understanding the gentleman who kept calling me Miss when my name is obviously a guy.... I suggest, get a physical appointment in your home town... This is unacceptable. When you are already in a dire situation, you need help, not additional aggreviation...
