About Effecto.app

Effecto is a health tracking app that reveals how your actions affect your health, mood, and symptoms. Then it shows you exactly how your actions correlate with each other and what impact they have over time. Do this for a few weeks, and you'll know exactly what to do and what to avoid to improve your physical and mental health – for good. Effecto’s data-driven approach puts you squarely in the driver's seat, giving you all you need to reverse engineer your life and build it back on your terms. The app currently supports 200+ chronic conditions. However, you can track, analyze, and optimize any factors in your life without any limits.

complicated but might be useful The app seems insanely complicated at first glance. Had to watch an instructional video just to figure out how to use it. I think it has some potential, it will just take practice to figure out how to make it do what I needed to do. Not sure how it is supposed to help me with distractibility, it is just another distraction, but time will tell I guess.

A few tweaks to make it great I've only used for a few days but it's been good so far. I have noticed that on my Android, when I click on the notification 'how are you' there seems to be a glitch which means the apps page keeps restarting until I force close it. I'd also say that the symptoms and factors need a bit of explaining. It took me a while to realise what they are for. If I add my own factors, they are there for a day to select but disappear again the next day. It would be good if one could make a selection which then is available every day. It's a good little app which just needs a few tweaks to make it great.

If I could give zero stars I would. If I could give zero stars I would. Daughter downloaded on an impulse and I contacted immediately and they have refused to refund. They are just money grabbing horrible people who are preying on people with ADHD. I understand it is a dreadful app too which does not help those with ADHD but just adds more of an admin burden.

Really not worth it I regret giving effecto a 3-star review. I was charged twice for the first three months, once when signing up and once when the "free trial" was over. I wrote to them and they wrote back that they can't locate an account with my email address, which is a lie. After that I responded detailing how I was charged twice and showing them that my email was in fact linked to my effecto account. I really hope they will refund me at least for double charge. I also agree with some other reviews that are wondering how a person with adhd can possibly be expected to track all these factors with no real reward apart from statistics that can only become somewhat relevant after 3 months of diligent tracking.

I really like the app and I am enjoying… I really like the app and I am enjoying it. Excited to learn more about it. My only disappointment is that I have had two onboarding visits scheduled and no one showed. If it weren't for that I would probably have given 4-5 stars.
