GBWaste of money Paid for a visit with MDlive for a toothache because it’s Sunday and my doctor isn’t open and I can’t deal with the pain any longer. After waiting a little over an hour for the phone call and 80$ later the doctor tells me she cannot prescribe an antibiotic. All she could give me is ADVICE, which is free on the internet. I literally just flushed 80$ down the toilet.. I would never recommend this site.

GBI was 2 sessions into working with a… I was 2 sessions into working with a counselor. They had to reschedule with me on very short notice and sent me an appt time that didnt work for me so I sent a different appointment request back and they didnt reply in time so I sent yet another one and then just never heard from them again. So inconvenient to be able to receive message from providers and not be able to reply. What was even more disappointing was that another counselor wasn't available for weeks. It's discouraging for sure.

GBMuch better ones out there. I called, gave them my insurance information and was told someone would be calling me soon. I told the doc I've had a sore throat for over a week. All I heard after that was I'm not going to help you, because you need an X-ray. X-ray? Just think about it, if everyone that got a sore throat was told to go to the ER, there making a lot of money. They got paid the full price for talking To me for 1.5 minutes. If your looking for a phone appt, stay away from these guys.

GBLots of technical glitches Lots of technical glitches. I've used video telehealth for years on same PC but would not work in MD Live and the therapist confirmed it's wonky. They send you confirmations to confirm your session then when you click to confirm it says the appointment does not exist and since you did not confirm, the appt is cancelled. If you go through Cigna that adds another level of disconnect, as confirmed by the rep I just spoke to ("Rayna.")

GBDouble charging fixed by MDLIVE March 18th 2023: I just wanted to update my review, after filing complaint thru BBB, my complaint immediately addressed by MDLIVE billing department supervisor. My payment of $59 for on call dermatologist would be the only payment I am responsible. Future services would be $90, since I have insurance thru Cigna. Thanks to MDLIVE to address my complaint. March 8th 2013: original complaint: I contacted MDLIVE for Dermothologis on call serive for fixed price of $59 without involving Cigna (my health insurance). I agreed on one-time price without going thru my insurance. I was truly happy with their services, I requested Lattise prescription, and I received my prescription on Feb 28th 2023. However, I received an email on March 6th 23, from Cigna my health care provider, there is additional claim filed by MDLIVE for my consultation/prescription on Feb 28th 2023.. I did not authorized this claim. I just want to warn others to know MDLIVE billing department charge every individual based on type of insurance they have on file.
