I was scheduled through the VA to… I was scheduled through the VA to receive a power chair and lift for my car. I also received a ramp to my front door. I received a phone call from Harmar Mobility telling me about the equipment I was to receive and dates and addresses of the business that would provide these services. The entire experience was smooth and painless, the representatives polite.

Stairlift annual check-up First we were told the service man would be here at 1:30. He arrived after 3:00p.m. With no explanation. He did not seem to know what he was here for or familiar with having an annual stairlift check-up to ensure the system is working correctly. The initial installation service included two handrails. One handrail has a loose plate that can be screwed back but it not secure. All you have to do is touch it and it is loose again. He screwed it back but was told it was not stable and continues to come loose. He just shrugged. His attitude was non-chalant. The service call charge was $207 which is a rip off for doing what we could do e.g., take a brush and just go down the rail. We were not feeling impressed with the service as we had been in the past.
