Works well, but setup can be tedious The alert device can be set up and functions as per the instructions. One drawback is that there are over 50 distinct selectable tones; one may need to cycle through a large number of these to reach the desired tone.

Great tools for my child. These buttons are bright and my daughter can see them but they are discreet enough to have tucked around the house. I found when recording I experiment with holding it away from me at differing distances when I speak and it helps find the right distance to record so that the sound is clear. I was excited to see batteries included, it made me feel that the price we paid was worth it. However, only one set of the batteries worked out of the four buttons we purchased. I understand that this can happen with prepackaged electronics but I do hope there is some way to fix that for people because it makes a difference. This issue with the batteries prevents me from giving a five star rating.
