GREAT WORK I found this site by doing an internet search. I am not a professional photographer, just a customer that wanted a couple of B&W prints from his phone. I knew nothing about them but their site seemed to know their business. I uploaded two digital files and completed their online forms, which was easy. I received my two prints sooner than expected. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!! Will be sending in more in the next couple of days. Very satisfied with their work and service.

dark and low contrast prints The prints were all very dark and low contrast. They bore little resemblance to the contrast and brightness of the files. I was a professional printer for many years and I worked for several years at Aperture Foundation in New York.

My 5 Star Review on 100 Shades of Gray! The photo quality of the black and white prints were equal to new studio quality on an original print. I wish they had a cropping tool to size down photos online, but they do have the main controls such as contrast and dark controls. It was reasonably fast, maybe a week. I wanted colors in black and white that were true and will not fade like color chemicals, and I will upload more digital copies to print once I get my son to crop some old family photos down to size. I highly recommend this company.

Has anyone else had this experience. So far I’m disappointed with the customer service or lack of it. I’m hoping this attempt with work now.

Good stuff! Beautiful true B&W prints as usual, speedy delivery, well packaged prints. Even my APS-C Nikon digital files end up looking like the old medium format B&W film I used to shoot; maybe better. I really like the look of the pearl Ilford paper…good stuff. I hope Fromex never goes out of business!
