GBThe bidding structure was so easy to follow! The bidding structure was so easy to follow! In real time as each item counted down, it was a sense of excitement to see if I was indeed the highest bidder. I really enjoyed this type of platform. Others are a bid and wait to be notified, usually on the following day, type deal. This was a welcomed change to online bidding for me.

GBWell organized Well organized. I was notified when I had been outbid so I could decide whether I wanted to increase my bid. I received notice within minutes of the close of the auction of which items I had won. A great experience.

GBValidate to bid I love to browse auctions and when I find the deal I didn't know I needed, I strike. The only thing that would make Hi-bid easier is if Hi-bid would prequalifyus for the individual auctions by some manner. I.e. if bidders had to pay $100.00 by credit card and leave on deposit then that buys them into auctions of a set estimated value. The price of deposit would increase commensurate to the estimated cost of the auction determined by the company selling. However to browse every auction should cost nothing unless a bid is want to be aubmitted.

GBThis auctioneer Pasadena/Prime Bids is… This auctioneer Pasadena/Prime Bids on the HiBids site is a schyster. He often posts inaccurate auctions on HiBids. This time I bid on two auctions, one for a large Christmas bow, and 39lbs of epsom salt. The bow was much smaller than the description measurements both written and image. And, I got a winch in a box labeled epsom salt. I emailed the auctioneer and he told me that “I failed” to research the Amazon complaints for the bow- and that “I failed” to accurately discern what I was bidding on regarding the winch. Therefore no refund would be given for the bow at all. I was also told that I must drive 2 hours back and forth to return the broken winch to receive a $20 refund- and that I would not be receiving the epsom salt because that is not what I bid on, even though the title, written description and 5 pictures showed the epsom salt, only 2 depicted the winch. The winch was not in the title or in the written description.
