WORST SHOPPING EXERIENCE I placed my order for some snowshoes with Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear on Dec. 1, 2014, and after the worst shopping experience of my life, I finally cancelled the order today, Feb. 12, 2015. DO NOT shop with this company. I placed literally dozens of phone calls to their Customer Service (speaking with Colby and Doug on multiple occasions), and never got any service whatsoever. Excuses, unanswered emails, and false promises to call me back--this is all I ever received

Stand up Company who did the right thing I recently ordered a Thule bike rack from Mountains Plus. It arrived in terrible condition (damaged during shipping) and Mountains Plus made it right for me. This item was dropped shipped by a third party so the damage was not due to anything on MP's end, but they quickly stepped in and made it right for me. I appreciate their attention to detail and the fact that they initiated contact with me, rather than me having to chase them down. I'll gladly do business with MP in the future and recommend them as an outdoor gear retailer whom you can trust.

Local company, great service Bought a GoPro camera from here and couldn't be happier. The bundle was great (extra memory card, 2 batteries, charger), while it was shipped separately, I was kept up to date on the status and never had to wonder where my items were. Didn't have any issues, so can't say how customer service is, but that is a good thing.

Amazing gear at the right price I bought the Osprey Aether for my husband's birthday next month. If he doesn't like it, then I'll be happy to claim it as my own! I found a spectacular deal on MPG and received my order promptly. So far so good! I'm looking forward to finding more great gear on MPG's site in the future.

Great price. Exactly as advertised. Honestly, I expected to be surprised when my shipment arrived. I thought the item would be different than I saw on the site, or that it would take forever to receive, or that I would go through hell contacting the seller. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I was surprised, but only because the item was in fact brand new, as advertised, shipped immediately, and they answered my e-mail within hours. Go for it, these guys are the real deal.
