Not impressed at all! Not impressed at all! Recently bought three policies from them and now need to make a simple date change to a policy. Impossibly difficult for something so simple…many emails….many phone calls and it’s still not completed. Go direct to the insurance company to purchase not through this second level of agents who can’t make a decision! All they care about is the original sale! We have always used Allianz direct in the past and had exceptional service. We switched to save some money but not worth it! Never again…don’t use Insure My Trip!

I am a frequent traveler I am a frequent traveler. I have bought insurance from this agency for years. The reason I kept coming back was their well-designed website. Over the years, I had to call a couple of times, and on both calls, I got 2 agents who were short, not helpful, and seemed to be bothered by the call. I put up with that customer service. Last week, I was trying to purchase insurance and had a question. I called and the holding time was too long. They offered for a call back within 24 hours, so I left a message. No one called me back. I left another message, and again no one called back after 48 hours. I tried the chat option, but my question and the explanation were hard to do by a chat. There are intricate insurance questions that can only be explained by talking to someone. I asked the person if they could call me and he said that they are not able to call back. I have bought so many plans from them and they made a commission effortlessly because of their good web site. Fortunately, I never had to file a claim. I can imagine how horrible it would be dealing with them if I ever needed help. I was a loyal customer. No more. There are so many better agencies that would pick up the phone and talk to you in a courteous manner. Bye Bye InsuremyTrip.

Terrible company I purchased insurance through this company. The insurance I chose was supposed to be 5 stars. I met the requirements to be reimbursed and they have been giving me the run around, as it has been over 60 days without payment. I have a recorded phone call mentioning by the company they are giving me the run around. Please do not use this company for trip insurance.

Purchasing was easy through a reputable… Purchasing was easy through a reputable company, Travelex, and the price was affordable to protect my father during a business trip. Was very pleased with the site, easy to navigate and purchase.

Multiple policies through them, good experiences I have bought multiple travel policies through them. Easy website allows you to compare coverages and see how well established the carriers are. Multiple times I have had to change travel dates and was able to accomplish this with a simple email. During Covid trip cancelations they worked with insurers on my behalf and helped me to carry credit for policies bought and apply them to future trips. I have even filed a couple of claims over the years without issue (claims with the insurers not insuremytrip).
