GBAvoid Discogs Purchased a vinyl record from US (ship to UK) paying correct UK VAT. Charged VAT & customs charge due to no VAT declaration on package. Discogs completely absolved themselves of any responsibility & essentially stated that I need to contact customs to seek to recoup. This platform is a shadow of its former self & I recommend that you avoid as I shall be doing & review the other negative reviews…. UPDATE Re response received. If a remittance has been submitted to HMRC, there is clearly an issue with it, yet I still have to resolve this. As stated zero ownership post commission received.

ITDeludente I purchased an item on this portal manowar Kings of metal more than two months ago and went back to the seller and so far I have not received any news of the refund or resend of the item truly a disappointment they care more about negative feedback than solving your problem you have to be careful if you don't want to be ripped off....

GBDiscogs leaves disabled people with no recourse. It happened again. Discogs will remove feedback to keep the seller's feedback rating higher than it should be even though it didn't violate any of their feedback policies. In the end, both the seller and Discogs don't mind leaving disabled people high and dry with no recourse. Discogs will probably try to weasel their way through this by saying that my feedback violated some kind of internal policy must be left so opened-ended that virtually no negative feedback can be left.

GBVictim of scam. Discogs never responded. Was the victim of a seller scam. Many of usID. re affected over a 24 hour period. We purchased items that the seller did not have. As I understand it, someone hacked into the account of the seller and made bogus listings. The problem, when addressed to discogs, was ignored. I spent two weeks appealing to them, but in the end they absolved themselves of any responsibility. As I never received a refund, I deleted my account. In the three years I was on discogs I spent several hundred dollars per year. Discogs is so lazy they'd rather see a faithful buyer leave their marketplace than administer some action on behalf of a scammed patron. The time it'll take them to upload their 'we're sorry to hear...' response is probably far more than it would have taken to help guide me through the initial problem.

GBNo communication. PayPal didn’t work, despite working fine with another seller on the same day, and me checking my PayPal account. I received relentless emails assuring me I hadn’t paid and explaining that I would be marked as a non payer if I didn’t. I attempted on several occasions to pay and also to make contact with them to rectify the situation. I only did this as a good will gesture as the record is easy to get hold of, which I will be doing by going back to eBay with whom I have never had an issue. No response from the seller and none from Discogs. Having refused to use them in the past because of a similar issue I decided to give them another chance, but I’m afraid they really are useless.
