Firstly I purchased the Dalia set Firstly I purchased the Dalia set, asked for a refund before it even arrived so they could just cancel the transit and not have me pay to return it. They couldn't do that even though it's an option through USPS. Then my set arrived, I got the wrong set. They sent me the lotus, they were willing to swap them out but at this point I'll just keep them. As a chef. There's absolutely no way these knives are worth $550. I've bought $60 knives that cut way better and aren't built so thick. These knives just bash everything open instead of slicing.

They arrived well packaged in a timely… They arrived well packaged in a timely manner. I have to say they are some serious eye candy! Just gorgeous! I would have given 4.5 stars, but that’s not an option. My only deduction would be for sharpness. While they are certainly sharp enough to use for ordinary kitchen use right out of the box I expected them to be just a bit more sharp. It didn’t take much to get them up to where I thought they ought to be though. Overall I love them!

The knives are beautiful! The knives are beautiful! I'm a knife guy and I was looking for something that would be cool to roll out when I go out on a camping expedition. Enter Folded Steel. Not only are the knives sharp, but they are also wonderfully made, beautiful, and the leather wrap they come in is made of actual NICE leather rather than the cheap stuff a lot of companies use. I got to admit when I ordered them I didnt think I was going to like them as much as I did, but now I find myself looking at other knives they make too (Serbian Chef anyone?!) The only thing I would say as a potential drawback to someone is that I ordered the Lotus and the handles are a little on the smaller side (from a width standpoint.) I don't have huge hands so it was just fine, but someone who has really large hands may find that they wanted to go with something slightly larger.

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF THAT WERE POSSIBLE!!! I ordered a beautiful walnut cutting board from them. The first day using it I chopped a head of romaine lettuce on it. After I rinsed it there were huge knife marks all over it. I contacted them and was told that the board was "performing as expected" and would not let me return it for a refund. They told me to use mineral oil and wax on it. I am not using mineral oil every day on this board. My other board I only have to oil it every two weeks and I chop a lot every day. I will never buy anything from them again. What a ripoff!

We absolutely love our knife set from… We absolutely love our knife set from Folded Steel! I use the knives almost daily. They perform great, and it just feels good to be using such quality tools when my wife and I cook. We also have the magnetic wood stand, and receive quite a few compliments because they are beautiful (we have the Dahlia set). A recommended companion re a knife sharpener - I love the Lansky system. Thank you Folded Steel - we are fans!
