We have used Temi for multiple purposes … We have used Temi for multiple purposes now, including transcribing books in to audio books and videos in to blogs. The transcriptions are quite accurate! We will continue to use Temi for lots of functions.

Computer Produced, Not Accurate Have had a few transcripts here, and the accuracy ratio for these files was not what I expected. Submitted some audio that was clear and understandable, and transcript came back totally unreadable. I had to make many edits to it, and I could have transcribed it myself faster than it took me to edit the one produced by this automated robot. You get what you paid for, but I would not waste my money on this company.

This is my first time trying this tool This is my first time trying this tool, and as a Pastor who speaks every week, I'm often listening to audio resources for ideas and inspiration. Taking those inspirations from Audio to an editable transcript in a matter of moments has saved me several hours this week alone! Simple to use and delivers what it promises! I'm hooked!

TEMI is very easy to use and to output TEMI is very easy to use and to output. Some of the machine transcription is less accurate (a lot so) than an actual transcriptionist hearing and interpreting... but at 10% of the cost... a good value for these projects where WORD-PERFECT accuracy is not essential and tweaks are easy to make.

Unusable Unusable -- though, at times, hilarious. An interview, with me sitting next to the single subject in a quiet boardroom, no one else around and no background noise of any kind. She's well-spoken and the clarity of the recording is top-notch, recorded on a professional digital device with a great, balanced mic, and yet the transcript was a garbled mess of odd phrases and utter madness. As others have written, a waste of time. Two stars because at least they're trying. Looks like this tech has some ways to go, and in my opinion it should stay in [free] beta for a while yet.
