I was extremely skeptical simply because I hear about all the internet scams out there, so I placed a call to the 800 number listed on their web page. An energetic, friendly, courteous, and professional customer service agent answered the phone. The agent built my profile, found what type of lamp I needed, and placed the order for me. DON'T buy from Advanced Lamps!!! Absolutely horrible experience with Advanced Lamps!! Advertised the lamp I needed as "in stock". Received e-mail sveral days later stating it was backordered. After >1 week, still couldn't tell me when lamp would become available. Cancelled the order. Bought another one through Amazon. Got within a couple of days. STILL haven't been credited for the cancelled order from Advanced Lamps, a week and a half ago!! Will be contacting BBB soon. Already have a dispute filed with my credit card company. Considering starting a class action lawsuit against them as this is obviously a pattern-taking your money stating an item is in stock-then not reimbursing when complaints arise. Amazed they have ANY positive feedback at all!!
