Excellent customer service! I purchased a model home with an existing security system. The old passcode for the panel was still in effect, and no one knew what this passcode was. I called alarm.com for technical support regarding this issue, and although it took multiple attempts, Ed from alarm.com was very supportive every step of the way in finding a solution despite things looking grim. Sure enough, the issue was resolved. Thanks again for everything!

Joined Dec 4th 2017 Joined Dec 4th 2017, due to faulty cheap cameras they sell and have installed my video clip quota of a 1000 was reached in less than 2 days, unable to adjust and fix. Have to wait another week or two for two more new camera replacements, now they have shut my security system down till Jan 4th and its their faulty equipment that caused the issue. Definitely not recommended to sign with them, am looking for other options now. Their ad for their product is a lie and a scam, they steal your money and run.

Caution If Using Alarm.com A word of caution to those intending to use Alarm.com or continue using there services. Despite many efforts to portray the company as customer service focused it is apparent that they use there service providers as shields between them and the end users. As a case in point in Australia they use the 3g network to allow app communication with the home system and the 3g system is being shutdown in 2024. Alarm.com is charging through their service provider over $800 AUD to move to a 4g system. I tried to discuss this with Alarm.com but they continually feed you back to their service provider and refuse to engage with the end customer. I also found out that Alarm.com suggested in strong terms to the service provider that they should find an economic solution with me or they would suggest I go to another Alarm.com provider. This attitude shows a complete disregard for normal business, except for some rather “sharp” business practice that I would not expect from a global company. It should also be noted that standard 4g communications modules cost in the range of $20 AUD to $250 AUD. The Alarm.com cost looks to be excessive or just plain profiteering. Update: Well I received feedback from alarm.com where they again “threw” my service provider under the bus. They stated that they do not control the pricing except that the module comes from them. The service provider is installing at zero cost so the only person profiteering is alarm.com. If this is the model they want to pursue then they need to remove any reference to “customer service” from their website. As always they only give an email contact for them to facilitate contact with the service provider.

I have alarm.com systems in both my… I have alarm.com systems in both my Florida and lake house residences. I feel very confident in the security monitoring coverage at both locations. I can’t say enough in support of Alarm.com and if allowed I would give more than 5 stars ratings

My company and my customers love alarm.com I am an Alarm.com dealer and love the services and equipment. The bad reviews I saw are from End Users that obviously picked the wrong Alarm company to handle their services. All of my customers love the equipment and services. I am currently switching all customers to this service and away from Honeywell service. ADC is a much better platform for both customers and dealers. If you have problems, get a better ADC dealer.
