From our first intial conversations… From our first intial conversations with Joey and his crew we felt the samsara team had our company's safety interests at heart. Our camera systems have been well received by our drivers and they are already showing results since install. For example one of our guys was involved in hitting a deer in rural Montana and the camera recorded the whole event from hard braking to initial impact etc. No one was hurt other then the deer but we had instant feed back for our insurance carrier and the officer on site. Highly regret involving them in our… Highly regret involving them in our provider search. Once we politely declined their service and went with another provider, they wouldn't stop calling us. They kept asking about our needs like this was the first time they contacted us. They called 10s of times waste peoples time and asking around for different decision makers. Since they had some info on our company they were able to get reception fairly easily. I told them if they called again I would leave a scathing review online, but they keep calling. Save yourself thousands in lost man hours and don't even let them in the door.

Huge Thanks to Samsara I would have to say the best part of Samsara is the team that is there to help you set up the system to work for you and your company. April helped a ton, would call me weekly, email and just make sure I didn't need anything, and of course I always did because a new system like this can be overwhelming, but I would give you guys an A+ on making us not feel too overwhelmed and helping us step by step Other than that, just a few things to note. Our first week we caught 1 driver idling for 2 hours... huge money saver. We have since caught several others idling, using vehicle for personal use, trying to be deceptive, but us having proof now that Samsara is around. Geofence, oil change, idling, etc. all these notifications are helping manage our fleet from the comfort of our desk :)

Just simply having the capability of… Just simply having the capability of seeing activity on the buses are great. I wish there was a "live" feature bc drivers usually only catch about 20% of bad behavior, and if I can help watch from my office and call out the behavior as its witnessed, i think most kids wont think they can get away with it.

Charged $27k after termination Samsara is very good at technology, but extremely poor at customer services. Before you sign - they are the nicest. After you sign the contract - expect MONTHS until your request/issue is solved. We had a renewal in January, and I had some issues that had to be fixed. I was promised someone would call me, but 3 months later - we just moved to another carrier. No one has reached out as of today. And I emailed Samsara every week! They kept on charging now, even if we no longer use their services - $27k !!! Unbelievable. They shouldn't be allowed to do business in the United States.
