DC to Brooklyn — Great job! We used Helix Transfer and Storage for our move from DC to New York City and it was a great experience. Management was very responsive to our inquiries leading up to the move, and on the move days the movers (Jose, Manny, Eliot, and Marco) were quick, careful and professional! Jose was the foreman and did a great job coordinating the move, even with some unorthodox components (e.g., loading belongings from both an apartment and a U-Haul truck), difficult New York roads and traffic, and a delay on our end that resulted in the move crew reaching our destination before we did. Overall, I would use Helix again and I would highly recommend them.

Highly Recommend Eric, Eduardo & Davis were great! The weather was awful raining they took time to protect items they were moving out of the house and into our new space. They were efficient given it was a long day starting at 10 and not finishing the move until 4:40pm which I 3 hour drive by home.

Srecko and Fernando were absolutely top… Srecko and Fernando were absolutely top notch in communicating with me/us at every single step of the process. They delivered to two different locations in Brooklyn and were prompt, kind, courteous, hardworking and fast. I cannot say enough about the excellence of their work ethic and service. Do not hesitate to hire them. You won’t regret it. P.s. I am not easily impressed.

Helix T&S POD Unload Hired Helix T&S to help unload our POD after a long distance move. Jose and Marco did a great job helping us unload our POD into a two story row home in Bloomingdale. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Only thing keeping this from five stars was that they moved so quickly, sometimes they didn't always take the best care, hitting doors and corners. Jose seemed to be very experienced and knew what he was doing, Marco was good, but didn't always know how to handle angles with large pieces of furniture. That being said, we had two very large pieces that needed to go upstairs on a steep turn at the top of the stairwell, and eventually they were able to get it up. Overall would recommend!

Make sure that you have a binding quote They did an estimate and a non-binding quote. They were in Maryland and I was in SC. I told them that there were two 10X10 storage units that were uniformly full to 7' high. They made a low bid to get the job and then held my goods hostage until I paid about 35% more than the price they quoted. They also delivered late, drove on my irrigation system, and basically dumped everything in the garage. I have moved several times and this was my first bad experience. I can not recommend them.
