GBGood but charge too much fee with each transaction. The website was easy to setup and they were good about forwarding the funds on the 1st of each month of the fundraiser. However, the people that donated complained about how much GiveForward was actually collecting off of each donation. I agreed. Next time I will find a free website to collect funds for such a good cause

GBBetter off asking people for money directly. The following is my opinion. Do your own research. If you look through their current listings for donations you can not find your own page. Instead digging through you find dozens upon dozens of garbage listings with random letters and characters. The hand full of people who are featured on the site never seem to change. It's almost like they are either fake or incredibly lucky to have been featured. Who knows why they get the lucky break. Others linger and suffer with no donations even though they have cross posted everywhere. The general public never sees your page. Only those that you give your link. You could just ask people for money directly instead of sharing with this crummy site. The misleading part is that giveforward suggests that you donate to yourself to "encourage" others. Well we did that. We NEEDED money for my wifes chemo. The only people who donated were ourselves and a family member. Good job GF... stealing FEES from a chemo patient.

GBMy regret I am grateful for the money I received because it was extremely helpful, but I only reached half my goal. My friends and family shared my page on FB, but my friends and family were the only ones to donate, which I regret. I wish it had reached a broader audience where strangers could donate, but that never happened. I didn't want my family and friends to feel like they had to help me, which is why I didn't push my goal.

GBPoor customer service and trouble shooting. I was disappointed in our results. I began the undertaking with one person from your staff and admitted that I am not tech savvy. She was unwilling/unable to talk to me about how to expand my reach beyond the standard Facebook postings and emails. The next time I called, there was someone else "responsible" for my account. She too was not helpful. When I called a third time and got yet another individual, I gave up and just did my best with what I had. I did not find enough helpful info on the site about expanding our reach either. All n all, great idea. Poor execution.

GBGot the job done. I set up a short fundraiser for a family member. The fundraiser exceeded expectations so from that perspective, it was great. Where I had difficulty was in website technical stuff and cust service technology. 1) For posting updates and also photo uploading, the software was a pain and very restrictive and even confusing. Have you tried it??? 2) When I needed help setting up a different person to release the funds to, I had myriad responses from customer service, sometimes with conflicting advice. The people I communicated with were always kind and tried to be helpful, but some things just got lost in translation. Made it very confusing. 3) As an administrator of the fundraiser, I wished for more flexibility in sending invitations, and then follow-ups, and in keeping up with both contributors and potential contributors. Emails I had sent weren't easily accessible for reference or to use as templates.
