First timer uncomfortable at times,he seemed distracted. And asked some questions repeatedly as though he couldn't hear or maybe thoughts were elsewhere

Terrible experience. Met with a gentleman named Renee and one word can describe him and thats smug. The fact I spent 275.00 and asked a few followup questions to only get snippy and short responses is unacceptable. Before paying my bill and having the lady actually ask for recommendations and receive 50.00 off my next visit I couldn't say no fast enough. I will never go back and anyone i come in contact with I will be sure not to recommend R&G Brenner. I will be sure to say to stay clear. It is unfortunate we got stuck with a terrible and rude accountant but this will be the last time I walk through those doors again.

I would highly recommend that anyone and everyone give R&G Brenner a chance your taxes and you will not be disappointed. After years of trying places like H&R Block, Turbo Tax, and even the mom & pop shop in town, I have not necessarily been happy with my returns. Not having a "go-to" accountant during tax season actually stressed me the hell out in past years...but stress no more because my experience with R&G Brenner has solved that issue. 5 stars across the board, especially the customer service. Feels great to be taken care of and not feel like you're just a number. Thanks again Rene!!!! See you next year!!!

Kim from Bayside, you’re the best! Had a bad experience with a tax rep from another office and initially said I would never go back to R&G Brenner. I’m so glad that I decided to try them again. Kim, who works for the Bayside office , really wasted no time and cut no corners with my tax preparation. She was very professional and competent with the questions I had. Even through a few snags I had on my end, she was available to assist and she definitely has my repeat business!

Taxes were rejected, poor follow up My husband and I owed taxes for the first time this past year so wanted to have a professional complete our taxes to ensure they were correct. The money owed was confirmed and it was vaguely explained why we owed, we paid for the piece of mind that the taxes were correct. We setup payment and it was accepted by the IRS. We then received notification from R&G that our taxes were rejected, without clear directions on any action we should take or what they would do to correct. I had to follow up a couple of times, googling for contacts. I received a response from a generic ‘do not reply’ email that they were resubmitting. We are still waiting, not sure to expect a confirmation or any further correspondences from R&G. We chose them because of the positive reviews but were disappointed by our experience. It seems they do well overall, just hope they don’t make any mistakes because they already have your money and apparently have no interest in clearly communicating or following up.
