I sent in all my paperwork as requested and then when I got the Truth in Lending statement there was $1650 in fees after credits. I confronted my loan officer regarding what he had quoted me in comparison to his disclosure and he danced around the answer then tried to blame it on a mid day price increase. I told him I called BS on that. As a prior 25 year veteran from the mortgage industry, I know how to read loan disclosures and could tell a bait and switch when i see one. I ultimately told him to cancel my application as I no longer trusted him with my refi.

Started the refi process in August… Started the refi process in August 2020. It is now December 3, and still haven’t closed, despite jumping through hopes for these people. Apparently, I need to resubmit documents because somehow they have expired due to their snails pace. Too deep in for now, but I will be pulling the plug if I don’t close before Christmas.
