GBBeats my Bank & my Broker When I refinanced my home, I took out money for renovations I didn't need yet to capture the low interest rate. That, plus some personal & retirement funds, are invested in over 500 Groundfloor LRO and Stairs. Oh, and Groundfloor Equity, which has more than DOUBLED in 2 years! Compare that to S&P 500 ETF at my traditional brokerage, down 17%+ for the first 8 months of 2022, and pennies at my bank. Yes, I'm happy with Groundfloor!

GBLimited communication Your customer service reps are friendly but any level above that is non responsive. My mistake to have invested $1000 on one project. It was initially supposed to be a 4 month payout but It’s been 11 months and property was almost in foreclosure once and now possibly again. Other than that information from the CSR, no one from Groundfloor will provide any further details. In addition, there is limited communication on the website. One CSR suggested I spread out my risk going forward. This is also what I suggest to anyone planning to invest with this type of platform.

GBConsistent 10% returns I have been investing with GF for about 2 years now. I started out investing in the higher interest LROs, but found that many of them fall to "default" status. Now that I invest mostly in the 10% LROs, I am having much better success with the loans paying off timely. At a 10% return, it is a much better return than savings accounts or CDs.

GBI am a big fan of Groundfloor I am a big fan of Groundfloor. One thing that could be improved is the way the updates on LROs are communicated. We have to individually go to each LRO and click on it to see updates (if any), which are posted at random times, and are not very helpful (i.e., it doesn't necessarily tell us the expected repayment date, or explain how long a foreclosure might take etc...). I wish updates were more easily visible so we don't have to go click and take a chance for each LRO and more explanatory for real estate rookie investors.

GB1 out 10 worked I have about 30 investments with Groundfloor. All bought between 12/21 and 7/22. I looked at the top ten today. 6 are in foreclosure. 2 are in default. 1 has exit strategies being discussed. 1, only 1, was completed. This business strategy never delivered. I suggest you look elsewhere.
