Acorns closed my bank account with them… Acorns closed my bank account with them without me knowing. Never got the debit card in the mail. And the direct deposit from my company doesn’t show up. I also pay 50 usd to open the account. Acorn owns me $2627.81 Don’t bank with acorns they are scammers. They refuse to send me email confirmation about the whereabouts of my money. I have screenshots of my direct deposit and they need to return the stolen funds. Acorns, Dwayne Johnson, and everyone associated with them are frauds and scammers. Stay away from this company. Don’t do the same stupid mistake I made in trusting these scammers.

I have been satisfied with my Acorns account until now I have been satisfied with my Acorns account until my experience with their referral program. The link my referrals used was expired BUT they were able to create the account and I did not receive the referral bonus. Poor marketing. If the link was expired the user should have gotten a message to get a new link. Instead, it allowed them to open the account and I lost out on about $1,000 referral bonus.

My experience has been quite smooth… My experience has been quite smooth unlike many of the low rating reviews. I'm not saying, here, that their experiences respectively shouldn't be considered. I have never tried nor needed to close my account, so im not sure how that may unfold if that event should arise. However, I've had absolutely no problems with Acorns. When I needed to withdrawal, I received the money in due time if not sooner. I love the ease of making quick, one-time deposits along with the recurring deposits, and being a "set it and forget it", its made it very easy to save not only for myself, but my daughter. The round ups are a wonderful feature, better than putting change in a jar, at least there is a chance for it to grow, rather than collect dust. That being said, it's still wise to diversify :)
