Since First Horizon bought out First… Since First Horizon bought out First Tennessee Bank, it has been nothing but problems. While FTB had its issues with online and mobile banking, their problems pale in comparison to First Horizon. Updating the app on iOS didn't work, as now the app won't even open. The online website doesn't show my true balance, so I cannot make payments to my creditors. This is atrocious and am thinking it's time to pull my money out and go back to my trusty credit union.

Not a good look. I had an overdraft fee of only 57 cents and the cut off my debit card I have been with this bank for years and to do that for just that low amount is really ridiculous. I am on a fixed income I would have taken care of the fee but they cut my cards off so I could not transfer the amount to them very very!!!! Dissatisfied.

First horizon steals your money First horizon is the absolute worst bank I’ve EVER had the misfortune to deal with. Their customer service reps are rude and unprofessional. They cannot assist you unless you go through 3-5 of them then magically your account appears to make a payment… but they may take your payment, give you a confirmation number, take the money from your account, then swear you never paid it. Regardless of the fact that I’ve never been late or missed a payment. Great way to embezzle money First Horizon. Someone is stealing money from their customers. DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I’ve HAD to pay a loan through them for a couple years now otherwise I wouldn’t but what I’ve written is a monthly issue, over & over again. Let’s not forget they sent the loan to COLLECTIONS over the money they stole and call my elderly father EVERY SINGLE DAY to demand $300… and I’m still paying it EVERY month on time. Don’t believe me? 1st Horizon Glenwood Ave 1st Horizon Glenwood Ave, Raleigh My dad wrote me a ck for 2100.00, took it to first horizon, had my Id, poa for my Dad and yes the $ was there. Doing this for Medicaid, explained this to the teller. They did not cash check, my problem is why is it always a black teller making $12 hour giving black people problems in banks. Everytime I have a issue at a bank it's withy own people. If my dads application is rejected I hope the rest of your damn hair fall out Update: took the POA in same day I tried to cash check, 5 days later no one knows anything about the POA. One branch says 7 days for legal to review, one branch says a few hours, Glenwood Ave branch said they didn't know how long. This bank should be closed down. I will make it a point to steer everyone one I come in contact with away from this bank! The employees are incompetent and lazy. I expedited my complaint to Bryan the CEO, received a phone call within the hour! If my complaint is not handled to my satisfaction and my dad's Medicaid application is denied and his health suffers further I will file a civil and criminal law suit against this bank. Sincerely I'm mad as hell and I will never ever bank at 1st Horizon!
