AMICA Bait & Switch I had requested an insurance quote PRIOR to purchasing a needed used automobile that was in line with our other autos of the same manufacturer. After purchasing, I received a MUCH HIGHER COST (+23%) than originally quoted to add the new used auto and was told that there was not a long enough history to receive our multi-car discount for the newly added car to bring the cost down. We are older drivers with no violations, no accidents and lower annual mileages. Very disappointed in AMICA pricing!!!

Your staff is the greatest Your staff is the greatest. Always. Only reason not 5 stars is that I was offered a discount to pay my auto insurance in advance, separate from my homeowners policy. My next bill still showed a portion of my payment going for my auto insurance, and a portion going to my homeowners policy. I called a nice Amica rep. Now I will have to watch future bills. This is not the first time. A couple of years ago, my homeowners policy was miscalculated. I had a new roof put on but was charged as if I still had the old one. I got a refund, but this is very confusing for even a tech savy senior. Hope to see improvements here with billing practices.

We are happy with AMICA We've had no problems with AMICA. They respond quickly to any inquiries, renewal is handled online with policy renewals easy to find. We use auto renewal and payments are directly sent via our bank. We have experienced one accident years ago, which was quickly handled and resolved by Amica. Menus are user friendly.

I stay with Amica because they have always come through for me when I’ve had claims. I stay with Amica because they have come through for me several times when I had claims. They have always been responsive and understanding, and have done what was needed in order to repair damage and, when necessary, find lodging for me outside my home while repairs were in progress. They have never tried to nickel and dime me. Whenever I call, a real person answers the phone who can answer my questions, or transfer me to someone who can.
