GBThe company changed their portal The company changed their portal, at which time all accounts being drafted needed to send payment via paper check. Unfortunately we were not informed of this until we received a cancellation notice in the mail. We called the office, found out the new (inconvenient) protocol and mailed the checks. Had to call to add a COI and was told that both our policies were canceled for non-payment. When we asked where the payments went that went sent (and cashed), they said they were applied. WHAT?? Makes no sense. Of course they also refused to refund the money until after the yearly audit. We've used them for years, no claims and this is the treatment we get. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

GBD&O Insurance made simple. I long wanted to provide D&O insurance for our Board members. Being a relatively new nonprofit, I did not only know which agency to choose, but also had to find one that was affordable. I am happy that I found Cerity which provided the coverage we needed at a cost we could afford.

GBTerrible Transition to New System The company changed their portal. Because they are apparently terrible at software development, existing policies can't use their new portal to make payments or check documents. Instead you have to wait until your renewal period to be able to use their new portal. Because my policy doesn't renew until June, I will have to wait 6 months. Which means I will have to write and mail a check every month until my renewal period and call and get documents manually sent to me if need be. Huge inconvenience. Don't waste your time with this company. Go find insurance some place else at a place that actually know how to actually take care of their customers.
