GBCatch 22 shows lack of customer service After several years went to log on to the web portal of Securian. Found that I could NOT log on and there was no explicit reason. The web site refers you to the telephone contact where there is no person answering which in-turn refers you back to the web site. Bad customer experience and design. Resolved by chance by just randomly changing my password and using the same exact password as previously. As an IT systems person of 4 decades I can state that they have not sufficiently tested all scenarios and put the error burden on the user. Not an acceptable business practice.

GBThis company sucks they will not pay… This company sucks they will not pay you & give you the run around my job status has changed due to have accident & this company will not do anything when I have had this policy forever I can’t even work like I use to, my job is talking about sending me to disability which will seriously affect me & my family. That’s why u get insurance in the event something happens so you can still provide for your family but all this company does is rip you off & make excuses they didn’t even read my medical reports. They keep saying my right hand when it clearly says 3 fingers damaged on left hand this company is full of crap & just takes people money & screw them over

GBSCAM comapany My husband and I have this company attached to all our loans, we have used them for YEARS. Now, when my husband is in an accident and off work for at least 4 months per the Dr.'s orders, this "insurance" company refuses to pay. What a waste of our money paying these crackpots for nothing.

GBIt is a scam they take the money and… It is a scam they take the money and then they will do what they can do best , find a reason not to pay for what they signed up for. Do not waste your time and money they are a scam.

GBTerrible Customer Service At a time where customer service is little more than an ironic misnomer, Securian somehow manages to lower an already low bar for the profession. Our State life insurance is via Securian, and this company's customer service agents (when you can reach one) are rude and have been very unhelpful with answering the most basic questions. Their "secure messages" are difficult to open and it is painfully difficult to find useful information about their "services". They have provided erroneous information to me on several occasions and if they ever say they will call you back to address a problem....forget about it. Overall, a company that feels it has no accountability to their customers. I don't know if this is a result of being a program administered for State of Delaware employees, or if they are this way with everybody.
