I have updated my beneficiary I have updated my beneficiary. The electronic form changed the account owner's name and there were no way to fix it. I have called numerous times for this to be fixed. Now they are writing letters to me with a wrong name. Such serious security flow and nothing is fixed for weeks. Horrible unacceptable negligence. Lost trust in this company.

ETC is a helpful custodian. ETC is quick to process transactions. They make sure the transaction is legally compliant. They have some very useful tools to review how investments are performing. The staff is knowledgable and friendly.

Equity Trust Company provides total service from beginning to end! The staff at Equity Trust Company were great to work with! I was able to quickly connect with employees who were able to answer my questions and walk me through the entire process including such things as the Real Estate contract, earnest money payment, titling properties and getting to the closing. What I thought was a complex process turned out to be very clear and logical process from beginning to end! I highly recommend Equity Trust Company!

BEWARE OF THE FEE SCHEDULE! YOUVE BEEN WARNED I just recently closed my account with ET. My advice is avoid at all cost. They held assets for me for less than 18 months, for that and account closure I've paid them $1130. Outrageous is a word I've seen many times in these reviews and it applies. It is my contention that I was never invoiced for any charges which didn't show up until I went to close the account. When I did speak to an agent they were always nice and helpful. There was too much switching to this and that department for the correct information. Had I (and I admit my own mistake) properly read (which I thought I did) and UNDERSTOOD their fee schedule I would never have signed up with these people and obviously will never do so again. If your considering using these people: UNDERSTAND THE FEE SCHEDULE!

I’m so glad I switched! I was a client at another company for almost ten years, and I finally got fed up with their terrible service and performance. I am so happy I finally pulled the plug and switched to Equity Trust. They made the transition relatively easy and their service is phenomenal in every respect. My stress level is down and my happiness quotient is up. Unbelievably, I’m still cleaning up the mess created by the previous custodian almost a year later.
