Horrible experience with no loan!!!! My parents tried to get a loan a year ago from PERL and the loan officer they used was James Counihan, Needless to say, horrible communication and they did not receive a loan!!!! Issued a bogus "Pre-approval" letter that meant absolutely nothing. James never called or emailed to update or inform any part of the loan process or status. Had to call the main office line to have him paged so that he could call back. Botched the loan causing them not to have anywhere to live! Glad to hear that PERL got bought out by another company and that James Counihan now works at Chase Mortgage. But if you do go to Chase for a mortgage, don't use him. He's a horrible loan officer.

Excellent customer service I have had the pleasure of working with Barry Schwartz at Perl Mortgage for many years and he always delivers the highest possible customer service. I just closed on the sale of my home and purchase of a new one, and the service was flawless as ever. Barry and the other staff members I work with at Perl make me feel very supported. Thanks!

Not enough stars to give! Mark at Perl was amazing throughout the process. I just closed on my new house today! During the entire process, Mark was always available by phone and email to field any questions I had. Even on Christmas day! It was their customer service that ultimately led me to select them over the other lenders I received quotes from. Not only was Mark able to match or beat the numbers I was quoted by the others, he flat out treated me better as well.

The people we worked with were very knowledgeable in answering our questions even after the closing of our house. Albron Hana takes the time to educate you on what to expect and on things to look for in the place you are thinking of buying. Betsy Santellano is very knowledgeable about the loan documents and processes as well. She is friendly and easy to talk to if you have concerns.
