I've learned techniques that I didn't know existed. Before, I used to concentrate on each individual trade. Now I concentrate on portfolio management and controlling risk. Maverick's support staff will always take the time to answer your questions and offer advice. Their bi-weekly meetings keep me tuned into the markets and it's great to be able to see trades other people are looking at and to be able to share your potential trades as well. It really is a community that looks after each other.

Maverick Maverick is full of helpful people. They want you to do well and the fees are low compared to other trading shops. That said, nobody can teach you discipline....In my opinion, the appropriate time to begin live trading with Maverick is after you have grown your personal account by 12k using similar trading rules as they teach. Jumping in (with any firm) expecting any magic or shortcuts is a recipe for losses.

So I've been trading with Maverick for a year. So I've been trading with Maverick for a year. In my experience I would like to give an unbiased opinion by highlighting my likes and dislikes. Dislikes - None. Likes-fast response and trader support. There's never been a time that I reached out to a mentor/senior trader that they did not respond promptly. Most times the next day. I struggled quite a bit with developing my own plan and my discipline still needs improvement but I'm not alone. I've had meaningful conversations with Maverick senior staff that has helped me become more professional and have consistent wins in the market. If you are a trader thinking of joining Maverick I would ask you two questions: get serious and what are you waiting for?

Maverick Delivers Excellent experience. Having come from another prop firm, I was skeptical that Maverick could deliver what they promised. I was pleasantly astounded that Maverick actually followed through with everything they said. Even though I have been trading for 10 years, Maverick's system showed me some gaps in my knowledge that they have assisted me in filling. It took some one on one coaching that they were happy to provide. I didn't think I needed a coach but after having some holes in my plan pointed out, I've come to appreciate the oversight Maverick provides. Excellent support.
