Great initiative by an exceptional team My wife and I had a great experience working with Shane from Nectarine. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are somewhat literate about financial planning but had specific questions on first-time home buying. He took the time to understand our financial goals, provided us with different options, and encouraged us to consider different frameworks, given that in the world of home buying, there is often no right/rational answer. He didn't try to push any products or services on us. He followed up with some relevant articles after the call based on topics we discussed and also answered some of my follow-up questions by email. We especially appreciated the way that Shane met us at our level of understanding and took the time to go over some of the more complex concepts with us (e.g., backdoor Roth IRA), and made sure that we understood the pros and cons of each option before making a decision.
