Unison is by far the best equity share… Unison is by far the best equity share program available. We had equity in our home and needed to pay off credit card debt to retire with lower payments. Unison took care of the debt and we save $3000 a month as there is no payment to Unison until we move some day. Be patient, it can take awhile to get through underwriting, but the paperwork is minimal.

They were very helpful at every stage and never treated us as if we stupid or a nuisance like we were by a different financial institution. We were a bit nervous about the co-investor concept, but out point of contact very patiently walked through all of the details, the important things to be aware of, and the necessary info and timelines involved. I would highly recommend speaking with the team at Unison before looking at HELOCs, simply to get all of your options. We're glad we did.

Funding Process Review Although my process took a bit longer than normal to receive the funds. I do have to "Thank" Mary Kate for helping me understand and get through the entire process. Mary Kate communicated frequently to keep me updated and aware of the processes. She was very professional and knowledgeable of the processes.

Overall pleasant experience. Overall pleasant experience. Only thing was my agent went on vacation during the underwriting process so it took longer then anticipated. Once everything was signed and notarized it took less then a week until the agreed Value showed up on my bank account. Now I got the down payment on hand to secure my dream-house / retirement property without worrying about an incredible high interest rate/ mortgage.
